Primary Time is operated by Torreon Labs LLC (“we,” “us”). It helps Latter-day Saint Primary leaders plan singing time and present it in the classroom. It is not an official website or product of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
What we collect
- Account: email, name, password (stored as a hash), and ward membership role.
- Ward workspace: child roster (typically first name, class, attendance, optional color group), singing-time plans, songs, lyrics, and images you upload.
- Classroom display: a display id cookie on the TV so the same screen can be claimed again; live presentation state while a leader is connected.
- Technical: session and sign-in cookies, and ordinary server logs (time, path, errors). We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use this information only to run Primary Time: sign you in, scope data to your ward, show the planner and roster, and drive the classroom presentation. We do not sell personal information.
Who can see it
People you (or a platform admin) add to your ward can see that ward's roster, plans, and songs,
according to their role. Our platform administrators can manage wards and memberships if needed, but do not have access to your child roster or singing-time plans.
The TV page at /present is public: Upon joining a session only the leader who is signed in can see whatever is currently on the screen
(welcome, QR, or live slides). Control of the screen requires a signed-in leader.
Children
Primary Time is for adult Primary leaders, not for children to create accounts. Roster entries are typed in by leaders for church class use. If you believe a child's information was entered in error, ask a ward admin to remove it, or email [email protected].
Cookies
We use a session cookie, a signed sign-in cookie, and on the classroom TV a long-lived display cookie.
These are needed for the app to work. You can clear cookies in your browser;
the TV or presentation devicewill get a new display id the next time it loads /present.
You can also clear the display id cookie by signing out of the app and signing in again.
Retention
We keep account and ward data while the service is used for that unit. You may ask us to delete an account or a ward's data by emailing [email protected].
