These terms govern use of Primary Time (the “Service”), operated by Torreon Labs LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. Primary Time is not an official product of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The Service
Primary Time is a tool for Primary leaders: child roster, singing-time planning, song slides, and a classroom presentation screen. We may change features as we improve the product. The Service is provided as-is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Accounts and wards
- You must be an adult using the Service for your ward or branch's Primary.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Ward owners and admins control who is added to that unit. Use only information you are allowed to keep for church class purposes.
- Do not enter more personal information about children than you need.
- We do not store any personal information about children beyond what is needed to keep the Service working. All information is stored securely in your ward's workspace.
- If you believe a child's information was entered in error, ask a ward admin to remove it, or email [email protected].
Classroom display
The hardware URL /present does not require a password. The content of the display is only visible to the leader who is signed in.
Leaders sign in on a phone after scanning the QR to claim and control the display.
The presentation device will time out after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Your content
You keep rights to songs, images, and text you add. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content so the Service can work for your ward. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use. Hymns and Children's Songbook materials remain subject to the Church's own use guidelines.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another ward's data, disrupt the Service, or use it for anything other than Primary singing time and related class organization. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Torreon Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data beyond a reasonable effort to restore from our normal operations. We will not be liable for any data loss or corruption. The Service is a convenience for volunteer leaders, not a system of record for the Church.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
